I am Juanita, and my family received help from ECF when my daughter, Nikki, was diagnosed with bilateral retinoblastoma. She was just three months old. I had to stop working in order to tend to her needs. The emotional and financial support we received during that difficult time was essential to our family. We are thrilled that Nikki has been in remission for seventeen years, and throughout this time, we have continued to stay involved with this important organization.
This year, ECF is honoring the moms, who, like me, have had to struggle in order to keep our families strong under extreme challenges. As the official hostess of these events, I urge you to participate in a Mother’s Day Tea fundraiser in your region.
